Hub

A Hub can be a physical device or a mobile/web application. Hubs are used to send sensor data from end devices such as a beacon or user input in a web application. Hubs simply collect peripheral information and move it to the platform for use later.

Hubs have special access to an IoT Topic used to send in a scan or ranging data in order to locate an end device. See our scanning documentation for the IoT Service.
